Power Max® Auger System

A breakthrough in snowthrowing technology, the Power Max® auger system handles more snow in less time to get the job done fast! This revolutionary system meters snow intake. Snow not immediately thrown is returned back into the auger, providing maximum impeller speed and snowthrowing velocity. The expanded chute base with its inverted, funnel shaped design has a larger opening and a non-stick surface to minimize snow build up.

Quickly and easily change chute direction AND chute deflection with one simple, integrated control.

Headlight Standard

Illuminates path for operator in low light conditions or evening hours.

Pivoting Scraper

Available exclusively on the Toro Power Max 1128 OXE, this innovative design allows the scraper to pivot front to back, clearing down to the pavement and preventing sudden stops from cracks or contours.

Heavy-Duty Auger Gearcase

Power is transferred to the serrated augers by a gearcase designed to withstand extreme stress, virtually eliminating the need for troublesome shear pins.

Electric Start Standard

For hot starts on the coldest days, each Toro two-stage snowthrower comes equipped with both electric start and a recoil mitten grip start for added peace of mind.

Tecumseh® Premium OHV Snow King® engines deliver fuel-efficient power and long-lasting performance in all snow conditions. Innovative "Quiet Technology" operation results in reduced engine noise. All Snow King® engines on Power Max models come equipped with electric start as standard equipment and convenient features like a fuel shut-off valve and extended oil drain.

Freewheel Steering

For effortless maneuverability, wheels can be disengaged independently or simultaneously with handle-mounted trigger controls - making turning, reversing, and steering adjustments easy for anyone. Snow Cab

Protects operator from wind driven snow. Three windows provide a wide field of vision. Optional Weight Kit is recommended when using the snow cab.

Drift Breaker

Knocks down large drifts, allowing auger to collect and throw deep snow. Available as an option on all Toro two stage snowthrowers.

Weight Kit

Provides balance for snowthrower when additional weight of snow cab is added as an option.

Tire Chains

Provide additonal traction in slippery conditions. Available as an option on all Toro two stage snowthrowers.
