Ok so I own a landscaping company and have about 30 accounts . a few years back I bought the timecutter and I hated it. So silly me figured the turfmaster was a commercial use upgraded version of this and boy was I wrong it still doesn't bag wet grass the shoot just gets clogged I don't even go out if the grass is wet, it Boggs very bad in taller grass, it is a complete sled on hills like the transmoaaion does nothing it's like it just shuts down. And it is very heavy so if your someone not using a trailer this is going to be back breaking to load in and out of a pickup all day. But if you have a bunch of accounts with no hills that you never have to cut wet by all means this is for you. I can say I have had no serious mechanical problems except sometimes the blades don't like to dis engage. Just not what I was expecting out of a so called commercial mower.

Let me start by saying I am a Toro fan. I was concerned about the few bad reviews on this mower, but I figured that those people were sour grapes and had unreasonable expectations. I could not have been more wrong, those people were not "sour grapes" they were right on the money. This mower is a good concept, but Toro should have waited longer to release this model to the market. The manufacturing process is not up to par. I got the mower on a Friday, started it up Saturday morning to test it and it ran like a champ. 20 minutes later when I went to use the mower the pull cord would not pull, it was jammed. Then, I smelled gas, which I later saw leaking out from under the air filter. The plunger must have stuck and the engine was flooded. After fixing the issue and getting the mower to start the blades would not turn on and then mower flooded again. It is now at the shop where the technician said these mowers are a nightmare and come in with all sorts of problems, I want my money back!

Rated 3 out of 5??by olajoe808 Not for heavy commercial use
Best for well manicured flat lawn. Very disappointed that it needs drive adjustment to go up a small incline. Handles and tracks well. Leaves a nice cut but the ability of the transmission is very limited.
The bail is square edged and instead of holding it down you have to hold it up which quickly becomes a pain in your hands. Not very well thought out.
The HOC adjustment is easy to use and works as intended.

Rated 4 out of 5??by 123Tim This new line of product is very easy to use and very well at handling, dependable, time saving, but it needs to handle all terrian.
This New line of Product is very well at handling and easy to use, but it lacks on heavy duty axles and transmission. I bought a new 30" not so long ago and the rear left axle bent upwards like if the transmission snapped, it was not the wheel nor the transmission that were damaged but the Rear Axle that got bent.

Rated 5 out of 5??by Amish0411 The Walk Behind BEAST
I was in the market for a commercial mower for our small landscape business and came across the Turfmaster and Exmark 30. We went with the Turfmaster due to the top notch components, easier height adjusters, and excellent reviews on the included blades. We have mowed for about 3 weeks with it now on 15 properties a week. It leaves an absolutely wonderful cut, stripes the yards, and is excellent bagger if need be. I have found that using the side discharge with or without the chute allows this mower to plow through grass. The big plus is the decreased cutting time allowing us to fit through smaller gated properties that we used to run our 21" through. It is awesome on fuel consumption as well.

Rated 4 out of 5??by ehow quicker hill cutting
This mower has power but for the price, it really should have more function. The control bar activates the blades and self propel so moving forward is great but having to pull this mower back with its weight is no walk in the park, it really should have some type of reverse switch or lever. As for as cut performance, Im very pleased. Height adjustment very easy. self propel on pavement or flat land is quick on uneven terrain or hills it loses momentum. On a hill 30 cuts quicker than 21 or 22 inch mowers.
