Back to Questions

Do I have to run the Dingo at full throttle when using the unit?
The unit is intended to be run at full throttle at all times.  The only exception is running the unit with a backhoe attachment.  When using the backhoe attachment, the throttle must be run in the 2/3 position.

Back to Questions

Why won't the meter light turn off after the unit has been serviced?
The meter light will begin to blink 3 hours before the service interval is required, and up to 6 hours after the unit needs to be serviced.  The light will continue to blink whether or not the service has been performed.

Back to Questions

Why does the unit creep when on a slope or when transporting the unit?
The Dingo has a Counter Balance Valve that is set to a certain PSI.  If the PSI exceeds the set PSI, the unit will shift forward.
To prevent this from occurring, make sure the unit is securely tied down when transporting the unit by trailer or truck.
When using the unit on a slope, make sure the unit is positioned sideways across the slope, and not up and down.

Back to Questions

How do I move the unit if it won't start?
Important: Do not attempt to move the unit without first opening the tow valves, or the hydraulic systems will be damaged.

Please refer to your Owner's Manual for step by step instructions on how to move a non-functional traction unit.

If you are uncomfortable in performing this task, please contact a Toro Authorized Service Dealer for assistance.

If you rented the unit, contact the store for assistance.
