Power and Performance
Utilising the industry proven Kubota® V1505 4-cylinder diesel engine, delivering 26.5 kW (35.5 hp) to power the GM3400 through the most demanding of environments. Cutter deck drive is achieved through a direct coupled hydraulic motor, operating at 230 bar (3336 PSI), transferring power through a double-sided Kevlar corded 'B' section belt – providing superb levels of power and torque.
Transmission
The fully hydrostatic 4-wheel drive on-demand transmission system delivers superb levels of off-road performance and traction through 4 individual hydraulic wheel motors. The optional limited slip diff-lock engages automatically when traction is compromised.
Reduced Down Time
With a tilting operators platform, large opening engine cover and easy to remove access panels, access to all areas of the machine is easy and unrestricted. Within minutes, one-operator can achieve uninterrupted service access - even with the optional cab fitted. Easier service access, reduces workshop time, costs and ensures a faster return to revenue earning service.
On-Road Performance
Providing a high 25.5 km/h transport speed ensures fast transportation between sites for improved productivity. Together with a long wheel-base and central point of gravity, the GM3400 offers unrivalled on-road performance and stability.
Operator Environment
Ensuring the operator is kept comfortable is key. With a mechanical suspension seat and machine controls at your finger tips, the Groundsmaster 3400 is designed to offer premium performance and premium comfort – all day, every day.
Cutter Deck Selection
Choose from either a 157 cm (62") or 183 cm (72") cutter deck, opting for the renown high-quality Guardian® Recycler®, or the high-capacity rear-discharge baffle kits.
Touger than the rest
The cast iron spindle housings feature a massive 9 inch (22.9 cm) diameter base and eight-bolt mounting pattern that spread impact loads across a broader area of the robust deck shell. Combine that with the high-efficiency, tapered roller bearings that offer greater durability than spindles that use ball bearings. The result is greater stability and strength, providing longer deck and spindle life.
7-Gauge Welded Steel Decks
The deck shells are constructed from high-strength 7-gauge welded steel, 33% thicker and 75% stronger than ordinary 10 gauge commercial steel – found in competitor models. Cutter decks also feature the unique bull-nose bumper, which minimises grass clipping and debris blow-out but also protects and reinforces the front of the cutter deck, in the event of an impact.
Tilting Decks
Access to the cutting chamber and blades is made easy with the tilting deck facility - tilting through to 65° for effortless access.
Kerb Climbing
An essential part in commercial mowing applications – the GM3400 couples large diameter high specification tyres, with superb levels of ground clearance to overcome the most challenging kerbs. High-profile tyre walls also feature to prevent wheel-rim damage and offer greater levels of suspension. Optional Kevlar tyres are also available to further reduce punctures and damage inflicted by repetitive kerb climbing.
Heavy Duty Rear-Axle
A heavy-duty rear axle – designed for repetitive kerb climbing – has been adopted on the GM3400. Together with large bearing surfaces to dissipate impact forces, and robust welded steel construction – the GM3400 is designed to last!
Heavy Duty Lift Arms - gm3400
Heavy duty lift arms – designed to meet the rigours and pressures of commercial mowing operations. Manufactured using high-grade steel box section providing optimum strength, durability and long-term reliability.
Optional Cab
An optional full weather ROPS cab is available for the Groundsmaster 3400, providing superb levels of comfort for the operator and protection from the elements. A noise-reduction package, heater and cab-tilt system – offering superb levels of access – are offered as standard. Air-Conditioning is available as an option.
